Common App submission question-help

When we submit the common application online, how do we submit it to one school instead of all the schools on our list?

Press submit and see what happens.

Remove all schools but one from the My Colleges list. Submit. Remove that school and re-add one that you previously removed. Submit. Repeat as necessary.

No worries about losing data input for other schools. Removing from the My Colleges list just hides them. Once you put college #2 back in the list, after submitting your first app, your app for college #2 reappears with all datafields in tact.

It is my understanding that the supplements attach to the common app sent to the school. Does the correct supplement automatically attach? Or am I wrong and the supplements go out separately?

The supplements are accessed and submitted separately from the Common App. For "all-in-1" schools (the ones that say you must submit both parts together), the process is the same - you submit one, and then you submit the other. The difference is that the one you submitted first is "held" by Common App, and is not sent to the school for downloading until the other is also submitted. For schools that are not "all-in-1", the one you submitted first is sent to the school for downloading, and the school then waits for you to submit the other pieces.
