<p>What do you do if your required supplement essay is on a similar topic to your common app essay? For example, I think it was one of Stanford's compulsory essay prompts which I found was very similar to the essay prompt that I answered for the common app. I also found myself in a similar situation when trying to apply to UCLA as one of the essay prompts was very similar to my common app, 'Where do you feel most contempt?' Essay. </p>
