Do the common application supplements have to be sent in within 2 weeks of the regular common application? I am applying to 9 schools on the common and I am sending in the application 11/1 for ED but still sending it to the other 8 schools. does this mean that I have to do all my supplements before 11/15?

What's holding you up - the essays?

Why don't you just send the common app to one school at a time? It's better to focus on one school, refine the common app for that school, complete the supplement and turn it in to that school. That way you are completely done with one school at a time, and they will receive all the information they need at once. It's better in my opinion. If you send it now, you can't add stuff you suddenly remember, or refine it in any way.

once i send the common app out to just one school, is all my info cleared or can i just add more schools later without filling the whole thing out again?

i just took off 6 of my supplements, just sending in Duke ED, WashU and BC, all 3 I have already submitted the supplement.

now i feel better i can take my time with the other supplements (but do I have to do the common app over for this or will it save my file?)

does anyone know?

bah you people...

if you go to "My Colleges" take off all the ones you DONT want to apply to right this second. your supplements, if youve already begun them, will not be erased.

then send your app, hit submit, go through it all, etc

THEN the app that you sent will be saved forever in your commonapp.com file, and you can copy it, and reuse it for the other colleges without having to fill it in again. they let you like "OPEN" the file that you sent, so you can reedit, or whatever.

then add your colleges back onto you list.

Here, this should help.
