It says a teacher who taught you an “academic” subject. Now, my Debate Coach, and teacher, taught me in a Debate class for the past three years, and we had tests, etc. Would this be considered “academic”? I truly hope so as he knows me far better than any of my other teachers.
<p>If you get graded in the class and it contributes to your GPA then yes I think it would be considered academic.</p>

<p>Another question about the Common App Teacher Eval. Should I have the two teachers just fill out their portion of the form in ink and make copies, or should I somehow send them the link to the pdf file, and have them type it and print multiple copies?</p>

<p>Schools we visited called academic subjects only English, Math, Science, Social Studies and foreign language. Journalism, Debate, Law were NOT considered academic subjects. </p>
<p>Check with the schools to be certain.</p>
