Are the forms that teachers fill out in their reccomendations the same for every school? So, If I had a teacher who submitted them online for one school, can I just add that teacher to another school and it will not ask her to fill out anything else?

That’s correct - your teacher fills it out once and the same recommendation letter will be sent to any school to which you assign that teacher.

Thanks! I kind of figured that out about an hour ago, but I wanted to make sure. I didn’t want to burden one teacher if there was different forms for each school.

My daughter’s teacher showed her her very nice Common App recommendation for Chicago-Early Action. It mentioned the school by name in the recommendation.
Does anyone know whether, if she uses that teacher off her Common App recommendation list for any regular decision schools, the teacher will get a chance to change it to delete the reference to Chicago? My daughter created a new version of CA for the next group of schools, but I am concerned that the teacher apps are supposed to carry over “as is.”

csshsm - A teacher only submits one teacher evaluation - the same teacher evaluation will be sent to any school to which your daughter assigns that teacher. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the Chicago reference from the letter already submitted. If the teacher has a different email address and doesn’t mind have two accounts, your daughter can re-invite her and have her submit a new recommendation under the new account.
