Common App topics?

<p>Do the Common Application topics (for undergrads) stay the same every year?</p>

<p>I think they might change slightly, but I'm not completely sure on that.</p>

<p>They have been the same for the last two years. They could change at some point, but I know that this past year, at least, they announced that the topics for the 2007 commonapp would remain the same as the 2006 ones, long before the 2007 app was available. So even if we can't know for sure if they'll be the same for 2008 yet, I would guess that it won't be too terribly long before you can tell.</p>

<p>And even if some topics do change, there's always the "Topic of your choice" option.</p>

<p>^^^ That's still saying the ones for 06-07 will be the same as for 05-06. </p>

<p>but, that FAQ item was posted long before you could sign up for the 06-07 commonapp, so I imagine that it won't be too long before they updated to say whether or not the ones for 07-08 will be the same.</p>

<p>And good point in that they almost certainly won't do away with topic of your choice.</p>
