<p>My guidance counselor is an idiot to put it short. She is new and doesn't know what she is doing. I told her she couldn't uploadnmy mid hear grades yet they went finalizes. I also told her I wanted them mailed. She didn't lsten and she uploaded anyways.</p>

<p>What do I do now, some of my grades are bad, my teachers had to do grade changes. Do colleges really look at the mid year in the decision making ? I had all As first quested senior year and they have that transciprt now they are going to see mid year :(</p>

<p>Some do use mid-year grades. You should talk to your counselor and ask her to issue an updated transcript once the final grades are recorded. Be polite. Let her know you are anxious and need her help to get the updated information to your colleges as soon as possible.</p>

<p>Yes, they absolutely use mid year grades. If yours change, email and let your schools know. However, you have to right to tell your counselor how to do anything.</p>
