common app v. normal app

just from looking around, pton uses the common app+ supplement but it also has a pton-only app? i read in a book that it's better to use the non-common app because it shows more dedication. at pton's level, i need everything i can get - do you think it would be better to use the pton app over the common app?

also, would it be better to go for pton ED or stanford SCEA? SCEA is more flexible for obvious reasons, and i'm really scared that pton will leave me with huge loans (in ca, people make a lot, but everything costs so much [rent] that in the end, $80K is lower middle class, but pton doesn't seem to care and by their calculator, i'll only get $12K in aid, meaning I'll have to pay $30K+/yr, something i really don't have, i'll be able to pay like $10K/yr), but is pton ED's admission rate higher than stanford's SCEA?

phew~

Well first off, Princeton has a no loan policy, so...

And you usually only reserve non-common apps for the ones your truly interested, so since you're thinking of applying ED it's obvious that Princeton is apparently your top choice, so I would definitely recommend using Princeton's app.
