<p>However, I've heard that there is a difference, and that you should always send the application that the college provides</p>
<p>So my question is, do you think it really matters in Northwestern?</p>
<p>idk but i know any college that agrees to accept the common app has to sign something stating they will not discriminate in any way between their own application and the common app.</p>
<p>the question is whether the common app lets you communicate as effectively as northwestern's own application</p>
