Common App: Which college should I include?

<p>I'm curious; under the Education section of the Common App, it says "Current or most recent college attended". I just left a state 4-year college after a year there, and am currently transferring to community college for the fall semester. This application is for the spring semester at another 4-year school. So, being that my time at CC is transitional and decidedly less important than my year at SUNY, should I list the 4-year college? I'm not quite sure what to do here.</p>

<p>I had a similar question and I e-mailed Common App support. Based on what they told me, you should put the community college as the latest/most recent college attended, and the other one under the section that says “other colleges attended since 9th grade” or something like that, which is the last part of that section about colleges attended.</p>
