...is easy and so many schools don't take advantage of it. Why? I mean if freaking Havard and Yale are on it, there's no reason for high and mighty USC and good ole Florida State not to get on the bandwagon. Don't be dontbees...be dobees. Make my life easier ,geez.

I personally don't like the format of the common application. I feel that the application is very statistics oriented and doesn't allow for enough room to show personality. In particular, I hate that the boxes for ECs are so small! Although there is a section for Additional Information, I feel that I'm over-utilizing it. There just isn't enough room to get in everything!

Actually Stanford doesn't use the Common app and its EC section is so small it makes the common app look gigantic. And you're not allowed to attach a resume with additional info either.

Thank goodness that the majority of schools I'm applying to take the Common App. So far, I've only filled out one app for a non-CA school, Columbia. I actually really like Columbia's application because it asks about what I read/watch for fun, which, I think, allows more of my personality through.

In any case, I just hate the layout of the Common App in general. But, you know what, it does make my life easier, so maybe I shouldn't complain.
