I submitted my application to a school today, early action and in the common essay mentioned the schools name as in " X university's class of 2014" and now i ghave to send it in to othr schools and two of them are today itself i dont know how to correct this mistake if i dont ill get rejected everywhere

no, you won’t get rejected everywhere. when i went on college tours over the summer, several schools mentioned that happening and how they just laugh. but they don’t reject you because of it. don’t worry about it.

thanks, but yeah do you know any of way of getting this changed when i submit the rest of my applications ?

make a new common app account and re-fill in the info for the other schools and re-upload the essay i guess

i dont know if theres an easier way

This is a good ■■■ story. jk, they prolly wont reject you because of that. Just call up the schools and tell them it was an honest mistake. On the bright side, at least it was only two schools and not all.

There is a way to do a new version of the Common App without starting over with a new login. You can find instructions on the Common App website.

You don’t need to set up a new account. Just change it and reupload the essay and then submit the new upload to all other schools later on.

Also, don’t worry–you won’t get rejected because of that.
