Common Application and Supplements Used for BS/MD Programs?

For Bs/md programs, should i use the common app? for example, if i were to apply to rice/baylor program, i would do rice's commonapp and its supplements, right? Is difference between regular undergrad and bs/md programs is all in the supplements (for schools using commonapp)?
Then what about schools NOT using commonapp?

Finally, I've been trying to get a head start on my apps this summer, but so far, according to my commonapp account, the supplements for most of my schools aren't even available yet... Anybody know why this is? Is this normal? Do the supplements not come out until later, like september? This means although I can work on my main commonapp and the main essay, I can't work on the supplements, which probably contain the essay Q's for bs/md programs, am i correct?

Thank you everyone.

anyone.....???

Review Rice's website on applying to their bs/md program

This is the process:

Yeah, you can use the commonapp. Usually for all of them, you do the commonapp, fill out the undergrad supplement, and then do the supplement that you would've normally done for the med program.

The supplements on commonapp aren't the supplements for the med programs. The supplements on commonapp are just extra stuff specific to each school that each school would want u to fill out. They're not specific to any field of study, and you'd fill them out if you were applying to just the school's undergrad anyways.
