I plan to transfer to Cornell. In the Common application, i have to write an essay about why I want to transfer; It's supposed to be about general reasons to transfer. As I'm only applying to cornell, should I write the specific reasons why i want to transfer to cornell in the Common application, or should I just save it and make them fit in the suplement essay? (they don't really have the classic essay question "WHY transfer to cornell" from what i know)
Help please

Hard decision because I feel that if you make something fit into an essay question that isn’t asking you to state why cornell, it might make you end up looking like if you’re not answering the supplement question(whatever it may be) as best you can.
If you know for a fact you’re not going to apply to any other school, then use the common application to state why cornell

Unless the supplementary essay says “Why Cornell?” (or something along those lines), cater your common application essay to the school! It will make your application stronger because one of the most important things in transferring is making a case for why you’re going from school x to school y!
