Common Application question

Hey everyone!

I am applying to transfer to NYU, Northwestern University and Yale.

I have already sent my apps to all of the schools I am applying to.

Does anyone know if they will let me know of my admissions decision sooner if I sent the apps very early on?

Thanks!

It depends how they go about their admissions process. If they have rolling admissions, then yes. The sooner you submit your application the sooner you will know. If they do not start reviewing transfer applications until a specific date, ex; March 1st for many schools is the priority deadline, then it should not matter.

All I can really say is you should just check their website regarding transfer admissions. All schools vary.

Agree that you need to look at the college websites.

I know that Y will not let you know earlier and without having looked at the websites, I highly doubt that either NYU or NU will either as I doubt they have rolling admissions.

That being said, it can never hurt to have your application in as early as possible so long as the content is of sufficient standards.

Look under transfer students, see if they incorporate rolling admissions.

Thank you! :)
