<p>"Is promotion within your educational system based upon standard leaving examinations given at the end of lower and/or senior secondary school by a state or national leaving examinations board?"</p>

<p>This is one of the questions asked on the Common Application. I have no idea how to answer it (Yes or No). I live in Florida and we have to take the FCAT. Would that make the answer yes? I honestly don't understand the question. Thanks!</p>

<p>In 8th grade did you have an exam at the end to see what level courses you’d take? I think this might be part of what they’re asking.</p>
