<p>WILL THE 2008-09 COMMON APPLICATION ESSAY TOPICS BE THE SAME?
Yes; the essay prompts will be the same:</p>

<p>so transfer students only write 1 short essay on an activity, and 1 statement about transferring? there is no open ended essay that is on the freshman application?</p>
<p>Yes, that is all you write for the common app itself. Some schools will have a separate essay on their common app supplement though.</p>
<p>On my transfer schools.... none of them have supplements... perhaps they're not out yet?</p>
