Hello, I just have some Common App questions, hopefully you can help me out.

Can you just send your app to one school, instead of all at once? Like does the app send out to all when you click send or does it go for that specific school?

For the student entered GPA area of the app, I have hear various things, because my GPA is not very high, would it be best not to put it since its no required and just let the schools see it from the transcript portion of the app from my counselor?

In addition to the transcript, does the one the counselor provide count as official or do schools need a printed out copy sent to them?

Last question is more essay related, I have a website I want to attach to my essay, where would it be best to place it in the essay? In the paragraph that it is related to or at the end, how would you do this?

Yes, you can send to as many schools as you like at one time by using the section where you select schools. When you send, it will send to whichever ones listed at the time. So if you have 10 schools, but only want to send to one, just list only that one and send. You can also make alternate versions of the CA to send to different schools (do a Search on the CA subforum).

You can list gpa or not, it won’t make a difference as colleges will look at your transcripts and recalculate anyway.

Not sure exactly what you mean here. Transcripts work differently depending on the school; some send a hard copy for you, others give you a hard copy to send, others send electronically. Colleges need 1 official transcript, it doesn’t matter whether it comes with the School form that your GC submits or if it’s sent by you.

I think either would work, but I might put the website in parenthesis the first time you mention the website.
