I'm filling out the Common application for transfer students and it asks for a "school report form" and a "school profile" both of which pertaining to my high school. Could someone explain what they are?

Do I have to send out all my SAT scores? I'd rather not send out my first score.

Are you sure you're filling out the transfer applications? None of the transfer Common App forms have anything to do with high school.

Yes, once you send your SAT scores, the recipient sees all of them, including SAT IIs. I blew a ton of money sending out scores every time I took a test until I learned this :/

i don't know what bitsy is talking about. all of the forms, including the high school reports are on the common app form webpage. they are for download. yes you have to do them as a transfer.

Wait, but you don't have to do them for every school. Some schools require reports from your high school, but many don't (none of the schools that I applied to using the common app- Barnard, Cornell, Bucknell, Hamilton) required a high school report form. There is a big master list somewhere on commonapp.org that lists each school's specific requirements, or you can check the school's website to see if they require a high school report form.

You have to send all your SAT scores, but most schools will only consider the best score in evaluation your application, especially if they went up with subsequent test-takings.
