Common application short answers format

Hello,
I'm using the common application to apply to Syracuse, and in their supplement there are several questions I need to answer.
When I upload the document, what format should it be in? should I put the number of the question and its answer or write the whole question before the answer?
Help please !

I dont know specifically about Syracuse, but on other uploads in the CA, the screen right beofre it allows you to select the file sometimes says what they want to see. Putting your name and Date of Birth at the top of the file would not hurt. You can use MS Word or create a pdf and upload that. Hope this helps! If you are uploading for a multiple choice type question, put which one you answered. if there was only 1 question, they will know what the question is already and you dont need to repeat it in your answer unless they specifically ask for it to be repeated. Check the pdf output of your upload to make sure it is all there and then recheck the pdf of your whole app. Sometimes answers get cutoff, even though you could enter them. Hope this helps!
