3 year member of Track
1 year member of Academic Decathlon(various awards)
Volunteer at Daycare Center...450 hours
Volunteer at Hospital ...150 hours
Some other useless awards... ec's are weak i kno...

actually, good chances for irvine, SD. good chances for all UC's. yeah, your ec's are weak- take SAT again if possible. Get some top-notch essays and recs and you'll be in business.

You will probably need at least a 1450+ on SATI and u gotta show that u have learned something from ur ECs to help otherwise its just another mindless job. Personally, i dnt think anyone has a decent chance at ivys/stanford unless u got like a 1480+ on SATI and 4.45+ gpa. the AP scores need boosting so do well on them in may. eh. who knows, sometimes the cornered rabbit can hurt the wolf.

Average SAT Score for an Asian male from California getting into Berkeley is about 1440 I believe. If you take best verbal + best math, instead of best one sitting SAT score.

If you are an American of Korean or Chinese descent, from LA, especially in an Asian city like Arcadia, Cerritos, Monterey Park, Fullerton, etc... 1550 on the SAT to have a 50/50 shot at Berkeley. Probably 1500-1550 at UCLA for 50/50 shot.
