CommonApp and regular online App confusion!

<p>So here's the deal...</p>

<p>I had teacher\counselor recs and school report all finished before December, but it's only recently I realized that I could use CommonApp for Northwestern, and that it has a much more manageable essay topic.</p>

<p>The question is, would it be ok to submit the CommonApp anyway? Would they still look at the normal teacher evaluations?</p>

<p>I submitted the school-specific application with common app recommendation to make it easier for my teachers. My college counseling office said it is OK.</p>
