<p>When the CommonApp asks for the Exact Class Rank Reporting, are they asking for the percentile or the literal rank?</p>

<p>For the exact class rank, you will put what number you are in your class (i.e. 3, 14, 22) over the total number of students in your class. For the approximate class rank, I believe, you put your class rank percentage (i.e. 5%, 10%, 20%).</p>
