Commonapp courses - changed

On the commonapp, I said that I would be taking 7 courses for my spring semester. However, even though I applied for 7 courses, I was only given 5 of them, due to the other two courses being filled. I do not want to seem like a liar, so what should I do?
Also, I have three free periods in my schedule, while a regular day is ten periods. Would that look bad?

free periods may look bad, since it wasnt a rigorous schedulel; but as long as you have good other classes you should be fine.

I say you mass email all admission offices of the colleges you applied to telling them of the change, as course schedule is a noticable part of your app.

good luck

I have two APs, but the other 3 classes arent really rigorous. I dont want to seem like Im slacking off because its the last semester. I think Ill go about emailing classes in a few days (gonna check with my guidance counselor one more time if there are any electives), but what should I say in the email? Should I give an explanation, or just state the changes?
I was also wondering if having such little classes will have a negative effect on admission?
