If the commonapp says the deadline is November 1st, does that mean 11:59 of November 1st, or 11:59 of October 31st? Does it vary on the school, or is this a universal commonapp thing? Please respond when you can, thanks!

I sent my applications in earlier today but they are still listed as pending on my common app dashboard? Does it take a while for the status to change and am I all set?
We’ve probably submitted this round of early applications! But thanks! And it should have a green arrow next to your application status, and a confirmation email is usually pretty common, too.
