<p>Hey guys so a quick question:</p>

<p>For one of my supplement essays, I want to elaborate more on my commonapp essay topic. Is it safe to assume that the adcoms will have a general idea about me by reading the commonapp essay and that they will understand what my supplement essay is about even though I don't explain everything I said on the commonapp? IS this too risky? </p>

<p>Have someone you trust but who does not know your EC’s well read it and discuss it with you. This will give you an idea if it is written clearly enough for a stranger to read. It should be clear to anyone who reads it.</p>
