<p>One of the prompts goes as follows: Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?</p>

<p>Could I write about a person as an environment? Because if I could go to any place I wanted to, I'd honestly just go to my father. I'm worried colleges might frown upon this since I'm not directly answering the prompt, but I also know colleges exhort creativity. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>Hmm I would advise against this idea in general because you make it seem as if your father will be the focus of your essay, which is meant to reveal info about yourself to colleges. If you want to write about your father’s influence on you, maybe you can choose the first prompt (background story)?</p>
