<p>Hello, I need your help.</p>
<p>I am using the CommonApp to file my applications. While the schools I am applying to list a "Dean's Recommendation" as a requirement on their individual websites, the CommonApp asks me to fill out my Advisor's Information and then plugs that into the "College Official's Report," instead (found under "School Forms").</p>
<p>Does it not matter that schools say they want a Dean's Recommendation, and should I go ahead and ask my Advisor to fill the form instead? I have seen my Advisor a total of two or three times, she barely knows me. I have never met the Dean and I had a big one credit lecture-hall-pass/fail style class with the Assistant Dean (+ another professor) -- so she wouldn't have a clue who I am, either.</p>
<p>Still, does the app better present itself when the College Official's Report is filled by the Dean? What should I do?
Should I fill the "Advisor" fields of the CommonApp with my Dean's Info? Er...</p>
