Personally I don't think its a big deal but does anyone else have formatting problem with their essays. For me the first paragraph wouldn't indent (when i checked in print preview) no matter what I did to it.

I can't get any of them to indent. How did you do that???

Well I know tab button doesn't work. Use the space bar and insert like 2-4 spaces at beginning of the paragraph. This works for all the paragraphs except first, when i click print preview first paragraph isn't indent even though I inserted indents. And the last paragraph has a space between it and the second to last paragraph even though I didn't do jack to it.

edit
got rid of the gap problem between last paragraph and second to last paragraph. The first paragraph still wont indent but i think ill just leave it that way.

why do you need to indent? just put a space between paragraphs.

but i did have some formatting problems on the supplements. basically it would cut words off or out on the margins. so i just mailed a copy in as well.

the space between the paragraphs worked for me. it ended up a lot better than the spaces.
the colleges should know that you can't really format though. all the schools I've talked to said they don't care.

How much cutting off happened to your essay? The cutting off on mine was like half a letter so thats pretty negligible

b151: first of all, i like your name. for me, it cut off a few short words such as "I", "me", etc. and it made some things look really wacko.

chriscap: thanks and I like that space between each paragraph instead of indent thing. looks a lot more pleasing.
Finally going to submit.

happy new year everyone!
