CommonApp Mid Year Reports?

<p>Hi, for my school I have to request mid year reports to be sent.</p>

<p>My question is: do I have to attach Common App's Mid Year Report as well? I did that for secondary school report. </p>

<p>I just think it's weird since my counselors didn't mention it.</p>

<p>I think they are sent online. Im not sure but I think that commonapp sends your counselor a reminder (assuming that he/she filled out your recommendation on common app) requesting the mid year transcripts</p>

<p>I notice midyear reports, one person said it was just for a formal essay update on yourself and others ( such as your indicating) is our semester grades. Jeez… and midyear reports are required?</p>

<p>I thought all colleges except like the UCs require it. It updates the colleges on our senior grades.</p>

<p>Yes, you do the same thing as you do for secondary school report. And they ARE usually required (as Coolbreeze asked)</p>

<p>They are sent through snail mail, because you need to put your signature on it. Print out a copy of the midyear report for each school you’re applying to, and sign each one. Then give it to your counselor. Done!</p>

<li><p>On the second page, it asks for an evaluation again. So does my counselor have to send a recommendation again?</p></li>
<li><p>My semester hasn’t even ended yet, and will not until like the 28th. Will my school hold my requests until then?</p></li>

Thats how the first transcript was sent by my counselor…
If its by paper then that sucks</p>

<p>Print it out, fill in your basic information, and give it to your counselor with a stamped envelope pre-addressed to your target college. Done.</p>
