<p>Last week on my Mich portal i realized I accidentally misreported a piece of info on my common app "parents gross income". I immediately emailed Michigan asking for assistance, but have gotten no response.</p>

<p>Don’t worry too much about that. You may call them to fix that. Is it a big difference? I told my D our estimated income for this year when she filled up the CommonApp, but now it seems it may be a couple thousands above that making it in the next tier level. We are not going to change the application for that as it was filled based on our faithful estimate.</p>
<p>I highly doubt anything like that would have an impact on your admissions decision, and data like that is in all likelihood just used for statistical purposes. UMich doesn’t take income into account when admitting and only the monetary information on the FAFSA/PROFILE will have any impact on financial aid considerations. Don’t worry about it.</p>
