Commonapp & Naviance Problem

<p>Hi guys
Here's my situation: my school uses the naviance to submit all school forms and i have filled in my commonapp password and username in naviance. However, I realised that I might have made a mistake and thus, to be on the safe side, I want to verify whether I have filled in the correct password and username in the naviance account. </p>

<p>I realised that the naviance account doesnt allow me to do that. Is there a way to verify the password entered?</p>

<p>And since one of my teachers has completed his recommendation through naviance, is the 'school forms' tab on the common app supposed to display a notification that a recommendation has been completed? FYI, i havent submitted my commonapp application to any school yet.</p>

<p>I would talk to your guidance counselor. Mine deals directly with Naviance all the time, and I’m sure yours has encountered this problem a bunch of times. And when my teacher submitted my recommendation it said the recommendation had been completed. Maybe common app just needs some time to process it or something. I would give it a few days, and then if it still isn’t showing that it has been completed, verify with your teacher that he has actually SENT it, not just completed it.</p>

<p>Oh thanks! btw, if in naviance, the teacher’s recommendation has been marked as ‘completed’, it might not mean that it has been sent, is it? i didnt know this before… thanks!</p>

<p>so in your commonapp account, are the school forms marked as complete? Or does the ‘complete’ notification only appear on naviance?</p>

<p>I’m not entirely sure how the process works. And did you mean “common app?” But on my common app account the schools forms are marked as complete for one of my school because only one of my teachers has sent off the recommendation. I believe as soon as all of them are sent then it will be all marked “completed.”</p>
