I think my teacher's recommendation forms and letter address Duke University. But, I am applying to Duke, UPenn, Cornell and about 10 other schools on commonapp. He already submitted the forms to commonapp, so they're sent to all of my chosen schools. Will this be okay?

Uhh, I would try to change that.

have him do the letter of recommendation physically and mail it in an envelope.

wait how do you know he has addressed it to duke? shieet that makes me worried, what if my teachers put columbia on their recs…and i sent it to all the schools im applying to? holy cow…

^ ask your teacher if they did that.
if they did, just have them mail in the rec to all your RD colleges.
kk? it’s no big deal if they put a different college’s name, because you have the power to fix it: just have your teacher (who btw should know better than to use specific names in a rec… gosh lol) mail his/her rec in.

ed decisions in a couple of days… SO SCARED. ):

I would definitely ask your teacher if they did that. And if so, try to change it immediately.

What my school does is mail everything in through the guidance department so our counselors double check the recommendations to make sure everything is correct (college to be sent to, our names) before anything is sent out. So I would also try to speak to your guidance counselor about doing that in the future to be safe. Or even going over the recommendations with your teacher before they submit it would help. :)

There is a way on the commonapp to start a different application for different school. Go to the tab on the top left corner that says information. Hope that helps. I’m in the same boat as you.
