Since subject test curves are also frequently inquired about, this post lists them:

I want to submit only my Subject Test Scores and not the SAT I score that I took last year.

Is this possible?

what’s considered “good” on these subject tests?

700 and above?

See bottom of this page for Rice Subject Test averages of admitted students:

Would it hurt to have only two SAT II’s (Math II and Chem), even if both are 800? Or should I try to take another science SAT II this October?

I wish I had your scores, Narusakuu…In any event, those scores are fine.

Does it cost more to add a Subject Test on test day than just registering for two tests?
I’m reluctant to register for both because I’m not sure if I will be ready for the second test.

How do you sign up for these tests? Do you just register for the SAT and then ask for the SATII room on test day or what?

is the physics reference table allowed to be used on the sat ii?

quick score choice question: none of the schools I’m considering require more than 2 SAT IIs, and I already have two scores I’m happy with (790 Math II and 770 Spanish). I also took Biology M as a freshman and got a 710. I know that’s not bad, but I also don’t think it’s indicative of my abilities since that was my first time ever taking an SAT and I didn’t really study.

So is it better to send all your scores, or just send your two best?

If my son takes two subject tests in one sitting, can he choose to report only ONE of the two to colleges?

im afraid not… most ivy leagues and other good colleges require entire histories of subject taking…
at least that was the case when my sister went to college
mebe the score choice thing that collegeboard recently created will help

do you guys think i should cancel if i think ill get 770 (on chem)?

Technically, couldnt u go in and take one test and then look at another test. If you think it’s too hard, dont take it and if u think its easy, take it?

In other words, are u allowed to peak at the other sections but then decide not to do them?

Does any online mocktest site available?
Does anyone know? please help…

if you change your test the day of, but you already decided to send scores for that day’s test, will colleges get your score OR a 0, since you didn’t take the test you registered for???

What is the best study material for Spanish and Physics Subject Tests? Also, what is the best time to take the Spanish test - after Spanish III?

Thanks

Is it really good to take as many subjects as I can if I can score pretty well

Alright, so if i write the code, the test booklet itself comes from where? So you have the booklet with subjects and an answer sheet- where does the questions come from?

um if i take one satII subject test 2 times, i can chose which score i send to colleges right?
i screwed up pretty badly on my math sat today so im going to take it again later this year but i dont want this last score to get sent ><

I know that I’m going to sound like a n00b (lol 2 posts), but - what’s with the SATIIs and the normal SATs? Do you take the normal SAT and the SATIIs on the same day? I don’t understand how it works, really.
