Commons/Courtyards Leasing Numbers

If anyone here applied for commons/courtyards what's your leasing number? Mine is 997 :'(

79…

What year are you?

I’m a sophomore. I’m spring admitted so that obviously makes a huge difference, lol. It’s so frustrating because one of the girls in my group backed out at the very last minute and now I’m super screwed!!! It doesn’t help that the other two girls in my group are also spring admits and therefore have the same numbers as I do…blargh.

This is a long shot but do you know of any girls that need a group (of 3 obvs)? Not just because of our crappy priority numbers but we also need a 4th girl. :frowning: I know it’s last minute, but like I said, our 4th girl backed out just last week…

We don’t have a fourth girl either. But looking at the number of empty apartments, you’ve really got no chance at either a three or four spot anyway. Unless you somehow found someone with a number less than 90ish.

My group’s got one spring admit, who’s number I don’t remember. (I want to say it was in the four or five hundreds). But I committed to live with her first, so we’re going to go together no matter what. We’ve got another regular admit with 212 too.

Just to correct before, my spring admit friend is in the 1000 range.

I called leasing before and they said that priority numbers are split between male and female, so I’m the 79th girl to sign up, not 79th person…
Adding every available room with two spots, excluding double rooms in courtyards and anything that cost more than the 4 bedroom 2 bathroom at commons, there are exactly 79 spots that my friend and I can take.
It is ridiculously lucky, or ridiculously unlucky, but I definitely feel for people with numbers any higher than mine…
My advice is know how you’re breaking up, and have back ups, and back ups for your backups, when is your leasing meeting?

My leasing meeting is on the 31st at 7:15 pm, so terrible lol. One of the girls in my group has a number that’s higher than mine, but only barely (936) and I don’t know what time her meeting is, but it can’t be too much earlier than mine. I’ve been trying to get ahold of my group to talk about back ups but they’ve been too busy or something like that. We’ve sorta settled on an on-campus apartment as an absolute last resort, but we haven’t really set anything in stone, which annoys me. They basically wanna wing it from what it sounds like. Plus, ANOTHER girl had to back out, or at least she said “I might have to.” Sigh. I hate doing things like this at the last minute, though I’ve been planning this for months. It just fell apart so suddenly y’know? :/

At least you’ll know whether or not you get something before you have to confirm housing on Friday night. (Did Maryland actually coordinate something well between different departments? It’s a little unbelievable)
Your best chance is probably as a single though, and if you’re willing to take either the most expensive apartments, or one of the quads in courtyards with double rooms.
