how are the communal bathrooms at BU?

The bathrooms have lockers where you can put your stuff. I wouldn’t know about how clean they are since I never had to go to one.

They clean them everyday. You get used to in within the first 2 weeks. People make such a big deal out of this.

its only awkward if one of your floormates is from korea and doesnt realize that being naked in the bathroom is weird lolol he learned quickly though XD you do get used to it though and we’ve all probably gotten so used to it only because we have no choice! it’s either go to the communal bathroom or **** yourself lol

besides, you get to see people on your way to the bathroom lol

Are you serious? That guy really did that?

yeah he actually did that lolol it was weirdddd

My first year here, before classes started, some girl in Warren drank too much and puked all over the bathroom before passing out. They had to call an ambulance.

Everyone, stop worrying. It’s really not that bad at all.

Of course, idealistically, communial bathrooms aren’t the best option in the whole world. But, at least on my floor, there is rarely any problem with it at all. It takes a few days to adjust, and then you don’t really think about it. They have a bunch of sinks, three stalls, and three showers in the girls room on my floor. There are lockers for your stuff. Sometimes you will not see anyone in there at all. Other peak times, it gets a bit more crowded but never too much that you won’t get whatever you need.

Oh, and people clean here a little every couple mornings AT LEAST and majorly every week or two. It’s actually a pro that you don’t have to do it yourself like you do if you have a private bathroom. If some girl happened to throw up like in Nickel’s instance, you could probably get maintainence to come sooner by getting the RA on call.

How many people per floor? And I mean how many girls will share the bathroom?

Also is there air freshener in the BRs? (I think you know why I’m asking)

i live in west right now and its about 50 people a floor divided evenly. so you’ll share a bathroom with 25 people.

so all 25 of you will share 6 sinks, 3 toilet stalls, and 3 shower stalls. not bad at all! there is no freshener unless you put one unless you count the “freshness” of cleaning supplies as one lol

In Warren it’s 44 people per floor, number of girls sharing the bathroom depends on whether the quad has girls or boys in it. So it’s either 20 or 24. 3 stalls, 3 showers, 5 sinks. There’s ventilation in the bathroom so they smell ok 95% of the time.

There’s a bunch of all-girls floors and they have one large bathroom in the middle.
