Hey so I'm going to be a sophomore in college at saint louis university and lately i've been really worried about my major. I'm a good student but don't really have a clue about what i want to study. Nonetheless I took a couple of communications classes and i thought they were awesome....nonetheless of course with a communications major like any other liberal arts major I'd be worried about my ability to get a job after graduating. Working with public relations or advertising sounds really appealing to me, and i know that marketing has similarities to public relations....would a marketing certificate be worth getting or do u feel as though certificates are just pointless? (should i look into getting a double major instead?)

A marketing/pr internship will be more beneficial than a certificate.

What is a certificate?

Don’t be another marketing or communications major. So many females major in those two. Take as many math, computer science and science courses as you can. They make you more marketable and show you can do more complex stuff.
