Communications and Rhetoric

<p>Hey, I am looking for a good school with a good program in Communications and Rhetoric. When I look for schools with good "Communications" programs, I find mostly references to Journalism, etc. My son wants to major in Communications, as it relates to Rhetoric, persuasion, oration, etc. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Try looking at Classical Studies department, as much of the art of rhetoric comes from Greek and Roman texts…</p>

<p>As an example, my own alma mater (Penn) offered such courses in the Classical Studies department, and they still do. It is now a pillar of the CWiC (Communication Within the Curriculum) program.</p>
