Communications and spanish programs

My daughter is strongly considering Clemson and one other college. She loves the Clemson campus and feel of the school but the other school offers a better location for internships. Her plan is to major in Communications and minor in Spanish. Anyone familiar with the strength of either of those academic programs and also internship/job placement for Communications majors coming out of Clemson?

sally2, I am not familiar with either programs. Has she been accepted into comm? I’ve heard it’s a very tough major to switch into and because there are so many students in communications it can be hard to get classes. The good news is that many students I know in communications graduate early and the ones that I know are employed and have had internships. Across the board Clemson students in all majors have great success with getting internships during their time at Clemson and jobs after Clemson.

She has been accepted into Communications. Good to hear about the internships and jobs. Thank you for your post.
