Is anyone here a comm. major at BC?
Do you like it? Is it hard? Is it a good program?

It’s one of the largest majors on campus, so it must be doing something right!

I’m considering a double major in it (I’ve taken 2 comm classes so far - Rhetorical Tradition and Public Speaking)

Comm is generally considered one of the easier majors on campus, and it is one (if not the largest) major on campus by number of students.

The professors are well qualified, although the two classes I’ve taken in it have been pretty large sized.

On a plus side, the Communications Office staff is incredibly helpful, despite the fact they have to deal with a huge amount of students. If you have any questions about the major, email Professor Bonnie Jefferson, she is the Undergraduate Director of the Communications Department, and is an incredibly helpful and pleasant woman!

Let me know if you have any more specific questions, I’ll try to help the best I can.

In defense of BC, Comm is generally considered one of the easier majors on ANY college campus. :D

Indeed, some top law school deans even state that they prefer traditional liberal arts majors.

did you just ask if it’s hard?
