Currently, I'm a communications major and a psychology minor. I have extra credits to fill up so I was thinking of either a business law or sociology second minor, or double majoring in communications and sociology with just a psychology minor. I would ultimately like to work in public relations after graduation, but was also thinking that if I one day go to graduate school (I most likely will) I want to become a social psychology professor, hence my interest in sociology and psychology.
I want to know your opinions on whether to double major in communications/sociology, to major in communications with psychology/sociology minors, OR to major in communications with psychology/business law minors. Would business law be useful for public relations or for working in the communications department of a corporation or would sociology make for sense? I've heard that business law is more practical, but I just want to know if it would make sense to pursue a minor in it given my career interests.
