Communications UC Berkeley vs. USC

<p>I am a communications major and is choosing between USC and CAL.
I DONT KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE!!</p>

<p>USC PRO:
better communications program (more practical)
nicer campus
in SoCal (personal preference)
GREAT Connection
Taking care of students more
more fun
you get what you pay (im international student so Cal would be as expensive as USC)</p>

<p>USC CONS:
ghetto area (its ok for me)
worse reputation comparing to Cal
students might be less passionate about learning? (idk)</p>

<p>Cal PRO:
The NAME
THE NAMEEEE
THEE REPUTATIONNNNNN
just a little cheaper than USC for me
ppl are more enthusiastic about learning?</p>

<p>Cal Cons:
don't like SF
areas pretty boring
program is research based and classes are less practical
heard no one really cares about students coz its public..</p>

<p>which one should I choose and let me know about the life in CAL....</p>

<p>It seems you’ve already decided. There are way more pros for USC, so go there. Is it worth sacrificing all of that for simply the reputation of a school? Saving a few hundred dollars?</p>

<p>I completely agree with BurntCorpse. USC has a great name and reputation. You seem to primarily drawn to Cal because of the name, and USC is a name that will get you just as much respect after graduation.</p>
