Communications with Applied Business Degree

Hi!
I have recently applied to UNH as a transfer student to be a business major. I was accepted for the Fall semester of 2017 as an alternate major due to lack of pre reqs.
I was told my options were:

  1. Stay where I am and receive and BS degree in Business (as a commuter with little social life).

  2. Stay where I am for Fall semester of 2017, complete the 2 pre reqs needed for UNH Business school and transfer to UNH for the Spring semester of 2018.

  3. I could transfer in the fall semester of 2017 as a Communications major with applied business and receive a BA degree.

I am looking to see if anyone has majored with this communications degree at UNH, and what career you have/had.
Currently, I am hoping to attend Law School, but should I choose not too, I want to know I can have a satisfying and successful career with this degree vs. a business degree.
