Community bathrooms in smaller dorms...

I'm thinking about living in one of the smaller dorms next year (like Littlefield or Roberts), but the community bathrooms are kind of scaring me off. I remember them being pretty bad at Jester East during orientation.

So, can anyone tell me what they're like? Spacious, cramped, etc.? Is there room to change?

I live in Blanton (in the Honors quad) which does not have any private bathrooms (well-not technically that they’ll tell you about, but that’s another story) nor sinks in the room. Initially, I was disappointed and a bit upset. However, I really love it. You’ll hear that floors with private baths are quieter- and they are. No one ever have a reason to be in the hall very much; I have friends in nicer dorms that don’t know their neighbors, but I know my whole floor. Community showers are also cleaned every day, are nicer than the ones in J. East, and you’ll never have to wait on someone to finish showering so you can go in the bathroom. Also, community is less expensive, if that’s a concern for you.

I have lived in Littlefield AND Roberts (ask me! ask me! lol I can give you any advice about either).

The showers in Littlefield are actually quite spacious and just got DOORS installed (it used to be curtains for the shower part and no door for the changing room part of the stall — so great. But they’re never crowded – especially in the middle of the day.

One room on the first floor actually has its own bathroom but you have to be 1-2 out of 150 girls to get it!! Otherwise, it’s fine. I LOVE Littlefield.

Roberts was nice too. Cool sundeck. :p
