Community College and transfer or UCR?

I was rejected from UCI, but accepted to UCR. I applied for a biology major to both, and plan to take pre-med to get into med-school in the future.
I wanted to know whether I should accept UCR, or would it be more beneficial to go through the TAG program at Irvine Valley College (community college) and transfer to UCI?

If money is a big factor, then go to community college and transfer to UCI. If not, then go to UCR. Note…if you go there and do the Bio-Med “Thomas Haider” program…it is EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE…basically a bloodbath! They do have a regular medical school now as well which is not accelerated 1 year like “Thomas Haider”. Know many from UCR that are now Doctors…some successfully made the Thomas Haider Program in conjunction with UCLA.

i agree, as long as cost isn’t a big factor. I’d head straight to UCR.

Any UC for pre-med science classes would be looked at as better than pre-med science classes taken in CC.

So unless money is an issue, definitely UCR.

Another vote for UCR for the above reasons.

Thanks for all the advice! Yeah, I was leaning towards UCR but was unsure because of all the options available.
