Community College class...

Hey. I took several courses in a local community college. I got As on all of them except one--Physics. I got a C in that class. I don't think I deserve a C because I calculated my grade and figured out that before the final, my grade was too high for me to end up with a C unless I literally failed my final, which I don't think I did. I tried to contact the teacher but couldn't. It turns out that, sadly, the poor man passed away. I've been talking with the college itself and we are trying to figure out what to do. The problem is, I'm applying early for Stanford and I don't think this will be resolved by November 1st. Am I totally screwed admission-wise, and am I an insensitive jerk for worrying about my grade when this tragedy has occurred?

Thanks.

I don't think one C will kill your chances -- unless you're planning on majoring in physics.

I'm planning to major in Comp Sci. And I'm taking Phys H at school and getting an A.
