Community College Course

So for those of you who took some kind of community college course during summer before, I have a question to ask.
How do you sign up for the courses? The college's website doesn't really help me explain what current high school students can take.
Do I have to take the same steps as the prospective college students, and can I just enroll in a normal college course?
If you guys know anything about this matter, please reply to this thread or PM me XD
Thank you ;)

I am taking two courses at our community college this summer. To sign up for the course, I had to get a Dual Enrollment form signed by my counselor and principal, complete an Admissions application to the college, and just submit my course selections. As far as what courses you can take... we are allowed to take any courses we wish to as if were any other student at the college. I am treated no differently than the regular students.

I would either go to or call your community college and ask what steps you need to take in order to enroll in their courses, as this may differ from college to college.

The local CC here only allows HS student to enroll to the Honors program and only allows us to take a few uninteresting (to me) classes.

I had to get a reccamendation letter from my guidance conselor and my transcript to send to the community college. I was admitted into the HS Honor Special program or whatever it's called. Then I got to choose any introductory level class I wanted. Talk to your guidance conselor/community college. =]

wow... the CC here pretty much just requires you to pick your courses and have your principal and adviser sign a piece of paper.
