How do these factor in the UC GPA process?

Would they count as a "4" if I got an A in it? But then again, wouldn't that lower my GPA because I have so many AP classes that it would actually average it to a lower GPA?

Bumpp!!!!!!!!

Sorry, no idea. Suggest you pm Norcaldad. He seems to have a good handle on this uc stuff.

I believe that if you get an A in a college course, it counts as a 5 in the UC gpa.

Where do you list this? Is it on the application? But even so, I've take 11 AP classes so this college course would just get capped....how lame.

My son just listed his college classes under "Coursework" (he was in a dual enrollment type of situation where he received college and high school credit at the same time).

After you list the course, it asks "Honor Status?" and you can put AP, NH (not honors), and CL (college).

Oh alright. Do they ask for what college?
