Hi All,

I am a recent grad of UC Berkeley (2007) and a current Master's student in Biology at SDSU. I scored a 166 on the LSAT. I have been taking several community college classes for personal enrichment after I completed my BA at a community college in a city I worked between my BA and MS. I am continuing to take classes for personal enrichment ie Theatre and Music.

My question deals with the LSAC GPA. I sent in transcripts from my first semester at CC, this occurred after my BA. The transcripts were accepted and my undergrad GPA increased as I got a 4.0 at the CC. I have continued to take classes and have maintained a 4.0, although I did withdraw from a couple classes as the load was too much with my grad school work and classes.

Is this correct that they are counting these classes after the completion of my BA? Is this some kind of loophole in the system? Do you think the withdraw from a couple of classes will matter since I am also currently enrolled in grad school (3.92 GPA) and have maintained at 4.0 at the CC? How stringent is the transcript check by the LSAC if I never submit the classes taken since the first semester?

Thanks,

~T
