I have graduated from HS and I am going to be attending CC this year.

I have taken one (1) class in my freshmen year (2008) in HS.
I made my portal account this year (2012) at this certain CC, and when I checked my "Grade" page, it shows a 3.00 gpa on my account. I didn't know my HS grade would still be there.

My question is:
When I attend CC this year, will that (B) 3.00 be considered on my transcript along with my future grades when I transfer out? If so, is there a possibility to nullify the grade?

I don't think see why I can't since this is will by my first two years actually attending this CC, and that this Chinese elective class is considered in my CC credits during my freshmen year.
If I were to attend a different* CC, wouldn't that "B" be not counted?

All grades from all schools attended count towards transfer reqs and transfer and culmunative GPA. A lot of what we can tell you will depend on which state your CC is in. For example, in California, if that Chinese elective is not UC/CSU transferrable, then it will not count towards your transfer (UC/CSU) GPA, but all schools you apply to will techincally be able to see it. They will also be able to see that it was taken in 2008, but that you didn’t even graduate HS until 2012. Only a process called Academic Renewal will whipe it completely from your transcript and that is typically a very controlled process and is only granted under very specific circumstances.

You should ask your CC if they have any specific policy in regards to retaking a class if you’d like to retake it for an A and boost your GPA.

So even if you attend a different CC, you will be asked to submit all of your transcripts from all schools attended and they will still see it.
